Designed to carry communication and control signals. BS 5308 cables are designed to form part of an intrinsically safe system.

  • Part 2 cables have an insulation of PVC.
  • Type 2 cables suitable for direct burial.
  • The PVC sheathing material has an OI above 30% and HCL below 15% and the LSZH material is of type LTS3. Collectively and individually screened pairs are available within the range.
